A company is buying out some employees if they choose too. Others want to stay, but after a Month, they will?

not knowing their new salary. Is this right? The company has not told them. Is there something that will tell the company that prior to the employees signing documents stating if they plan to stay or go, the company should disclose the new wage if an employee opt to stay?
